Lying in Nainital district of Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett National Park, is a portion of the larger Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve. Jim Corbett National Park was established in the year 1936 and the name that was coined was Hailey National Park. That’s how it became the country’s oldest and the most renowned National Park. Project tiger was given a launch pad here in the year 1973. When Royal Bengal Tiger became endangered species Project Tiger became popular in India from here anon. All this history makes you feel gladdened upon visiting the Park.

Rich Birdlife, Deers (species four to five), elephants and Royal Bengal Tiger are popular in the National Park, where people visit to get closer to nature.
